TINKERBELL was found abandoned on a dirty coat by a rubbish dump when she was only a few weeks old and was taken in by one of our rescuers who bottle fed her until she was able to eat solids.  The journey from Romania is always traumatic for the dogs but Tinkerbell suffered more than most.  Her personality changed and she found her new life in foster difficult to process.  We were very concerned so she had full blood tests at the vets here to ensure she was not suffering physically.  Everything came back negative so the vet put her behaviour down to stress and anxiety.  It was recommended she take Yucalm which is a stess/anxiety relief medication and her foster mum cannot believe the change in her.  Her foster mum tells me "Tinkerbell is now learning how to be a proper puppy and playing like one too.  She is extremely playful.  She still is learning that she has to share her toys and she is responding very well to clicker training.  She is extremely bright  and very quick at learning.  Very eager to please and getting much better at recall."  Now we know Tinkerbell is ready for her forever home.  She does need a family that has experience with dogs and is willing to continue with her training.  She currently is in foster in Hampshire.

For Tinkerbell we cannot consider homes with children under 12 years of age, applicants under 24 years of age and homes without direct access to a secure garden.
